GRP storage tank
The Yongchang (Golden Wave) brand GRP tanks which produced by Zhenshi Yongchang Composites Co., Ltd. had been continuously appraised as name brand product ,the tanks are varied of horizontal and vertical storage tanks as well as transportation tanks, large sized series vessels. According to customers’ different applications (for storage or for transportation) to utilize different materials, it is consisted of high resin content anti-corrosion liner, fiber winding reinforced layer and outside protection layer. The product’s allowable working temperature is generally between -50~80℃ and is of corrosion resistance, aging resistance and long serving life. Service also has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, anti-permeation, heat insulation, nontoxicity and smooth surface.
The GRP tanks are one of the most used resin based composite products, compare with the conventional metal and steel bar reinforced concrete storage tanks, it has the following features:
1. Excellent in corrosion resistance
“Yongchang (Golden Wave)” brand GRP storage tank is mainly composed of macromolecular unsaturated polyester resin and mineral glass fiber, it is electricity insulated, in electrolyte, there are no ions dissolved, so it can effectively resist the corrosion caused by acids, alkalis, salts and other chemical fluids.
2. High strength and light weight
The GRP tank has a flexible design, the tank’s performance can be ensured through increasing the thickness of reinforced winding layer and adjusting the winding angle.
•The GRP material’s specific gravity is small, so the GRP storage tanks are 1/3 lighter than the steel storage tanks under the comparison of the same volume.
3. A perfect effect of heat insulation
The heat conduction coefficient of GRP is of 1/100 the same as metal and 1/10 as steel bar reinforced concrete, the GPP material can save energy greatly when it is used as chemical equipment.
4. Easily formed and maintained
The GRP storage tank is mechanical winding formed, the maximum size is 2000 m3.
