Yongchang Sekisui Composite Co., Ltd was funded in 1993, so far its registered capital is 150 million RMB and fixed assets are 600 million RMB, the annual production capacity is 100000 metric tons of GRP pipes, storage tanks and other products. The main products of the company are registered by the trade mark “Golden Wave”. The headquarters locates in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China and the factory is occupying an area of 460 thousand square meters. The company has established many subsidiaries, branches and agencies in Shanghai, Yining and abroad. The production scale, equipments, technical level and quality as well as market sharing have come to the first of the nation’s GRP pipes and it has become the largest GRP pipes manufacturer of China.
The company has introduced full sets of advanced equipments and appliances from home and abroad for GRP pipes production and testing, by which from the production designs to the end formation are all computerized. The products have been tested and detected by China Inspection Center for GRP quality and all of the targets were turned out to be superior. Now the company has obtained IS9001 international Quality System Certificate, ISO14001 Environmental Management Certificate and ISO18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series Certificate, also established a full set of scientific and integrated quality warranty and management regulations. In order to prove the service life of “Yongchang (Golden Wave)” brand GRP pipes is more than 50 years, the company has made a large investment to complete HDB long-term hydrostatic pressure test and SD long-term bending property test. It is the first company which has completed this test in China.
In 1996, the “Golden Wave” brand GRP pipes and storage tanks were honored and appraised as “Xinjiang Famous Product” by Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Government. In 1997, it was awarded a gold medal for export product by international appraisal organizations and in 1998 it was given the Topmost Gold Medal; in 1999 the company obtained the title of “Advanced Collective” by combined 5 national ministries among which are the Ministry of Construction, the State Bureau of Building Materials, the State Bureau of Light Industry, the State Bureau of Petroleum and Chemical Industry and China National Petroleum Corporation. In 2002, the company won the Quality Management Advanced Collective Prize and the title of Integrated Model Company, in 2003 it was granted the High Technical Industrial Enterprise by Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The GRP pipes, storage tanks with brand of “Yongchang (Golden Wave)” were awarded the title of China Famous Brand Products in 2006.The “Golden Wave” brand GRP pipes and storage tanks have already been widely applied in the industry of petroleum, chemicals, electric power, hydraulics system, municipal infrastructural constructions, environmental protection, agricultural development and foodstuff processing. The products have not only covered domestic markets but also have been exported to the European countries, the Middle East countries and the Middle Asian countries.
